sister: opening a new packet of staples
me: *hands reach out dramatically* WAIT! Don't open them, we still have some left, here i'll find them for you
*lilian climbs onto the table*
me: I think theyre in that box, i better not fall
TWO SECONDS PASS
*lilian slips and slams down onto the table then slides onto the floor, lying down on her side*
everyone in the house hears and comes into the room: HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHHAAHAA
me: --DEAD--

In the end Lilian ended up with a bruise on her knee and a painful thumb. The staples were found behind on a different table in a much more reachable place.
